Sarah Masuch
Sarah Masuch is a German actress, born on March 31, 1978, in Hamburg as the daughter of a Nigerian father and a German mother. She completed her acting training from 1996 to 2000 at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich and was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg from 2000 to 2005, where she performed in plays such as “Die Möwe,” “Die Frau vom Meer,” and “Velvet Underground”; she speaks English, Spanish, and French, and plays piano and clarinet. She became known for her role as Dr. Iris Brooks in the ARD series “Lindenstraße” (2012–2020, over 350 episodes), Anette Roth in the telenovela “Rote Rosen” (2022–2023, season 21), as well as guest appearances in “Stromberg” (2005, 3 episodes), “Großstadtrevier,” “Tatort,” “Heiter bis tödlich,” TV films like “Mutterglück” (2006), “Für meine Kinder tu’ ich alles” (2008), and awards such as the Amnesty International Acting Award (2013).
