Philip Lau, also known as Wu Yi, was born on November 3, 1990, in Kowloon, Hong Kong. He is a Chinese pop singer, actor, and host. Philip gained recognition as the second runner-up in the singing talent show Super Boy in 2010, hosted by Hunan TV. Before this, he showcased his musical abilities by winning the Canadian division and securing third place in the North American area of the "Karaoke King" competition in 2009.
