Ingeborg Schöner
Ingeborg Schöner (born July 2, 1935, Wiesbaden) is a German actress, Zen teacher, and author.
She began her film career in the mid-1950s and became a familiar presence in West German postwar cinema, often cast in leading roles alongside actors such as Curd Jürgens, Götz George, Peter Alexander, and Gunther Philipp. From the late 1950s onward she also worked extensively in Italian and French productions, appearing under the name Inge Schoener in adventure and historical films.
Schöner has had a long and successful television career, most notably as Anna Herbst in the crime series SOKO 5113, in which she appeared from 1980 to 2008. In addition to acting, she has worked widely in theatre and was awarded the Roswitha Ring in 1981.
Since the 1980s, she has also been active as a Zen teacher and later became an author.
